Team's Expertise

The team has a consolidated experience on electrical characterization, on the modeling and on the reliability evaluation of electronic, optoelectronic, and photovoltaic devices. In particular, our group has dealt with:

  • The characterization and the reliability of semiconductor devices: silicon, compound III-V, and organics
  • The degradation mechanisms (trapped charge and leakage currents) of dielectrics
  • The radiation induced effects on semiconductor devices, memories, and circuits
  • The reliability of wide Energy Gap semiconductor devices (GaN and SiC) for both microwave (HEMT and MESFET) and optoelectronic applications (LED)
  • The development of ESD protection structures against electrostatic discharges in CMOS and SMART Power (BCD) technology integrated circuits

Starting from these experience, the group expanded its research activity on organic semiconductor device.
